SAG Awards 2021: Οι νικητές της βραδιάς ήταν αυτοί που περιμέναμε ακριβώς

Η φετινή χρονιά ήταν κάπως περίεργη για τις διοργανώσεις των βραβείων που κάθε χρόνο παρακολουθούμε, και που κάθε χρόνο τις βλέπουμε συγκεκριμένες ημέρες. Φέτος λόγω της πανδημίας όλα ήταν διαφορετικά, όμως με τις απαραίτητες προφυλάξεις όλα τα βραβεία δόθηκαν.
Τα 27α ετήσια βραβεία Screen Actors Guild, που τιμούν τα καλύτερα επιτεύγματα σε κινηματογραφικές και τηλεοπτικές παραστάσεις για το έτος 2020, παρουσιάστηκαν στις 4 Απριλίου 2021 στο Shrine Auditorium στο Λος Άντζελες της Καλιφόρνια. Η τελετή μεταδόθηκε ζωντανά τόσο στο TNT όσο και στο TBS στις 9:00 μ.μ. Ως αποτέλεσμα της πανδημίας, η 27η ετήσια τελετή έμοιαζε πολύ διαφορετική από τα προηγούμενα χρόνια, και μειώθηκε σε μία ώρα διάρκεια αντί για τις τυπικές δύο. Ολόκληρη η εκπομπή, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των μονόλογων από τους παρουσιαστές και ομιλίες αποδοχής, ήταν προ-μαγνητοσκοπημένες.
Τα «Τhe Trial of the Chicago 7», «Schitt’s Creek» και «Crown» έφεραν τα συνολικά βραβεία της βραδιάς, ενώ ο αείμνηστος Chadwick Boseman μοιάζει να είναι ακόμη μια ανάσα πιο κοντά στο να πάρει το φετινό Oscar καλύτερου ηθοποιού.
